Großvater-Paradoxon / Grandfather Paradox
Das Großvater-Paradoxon ist vermutlich das bekannteste Zeitreise-Paradoxon und behandelt einfach die Frage, was passiert, wenn man in die Vergangenheit reist, um seinen eigenen Großvater zu töten. Kann man dann noch geboren werden, um eben dies zu tun, oder hat man seine eigene Existenz beendet, bevor sie begann?
Aufgrund der komplexen Antwort auf diese Frage, untergliedert sich das Großvater-Paradoxon in drei Unter-Paradoxa.
Das Prädestinations-Paradoxon: Angewendet auf das Großvater-Paradoxon bedeutet dies, das die Reise in die Vergangenheit, um den Großvater zu töten, eben erst recht (auf irgendeine Art) dafür sorgt, das man entsteht.
Das Pogo-Paradoxon: Angewendet auf das Großvater-Paradoxon sagt dies aus, das der Versuch, dies zu tun, das Ereignis eben erst auslöst.
Alternative Zeitlinie: Angewendet auf das Großvater-Paradoxon sagt dies aus, das bei der Zeitreise eine alternative Zeitlinie erschaffen wird und es egal ist, ob man den Mord nun begeht. Man existiert weiter.

The Grandfather-Paradox is undoubtely the most famous Time Travel Paradox and deals with the question: What happens, if you decide to travel back in Time and murder your Granfather? Will you cease to exist, which would effectively stop you from comitting the Crime?
Due to the complexity of the Anwesers on this, the Grandfather-Paradox splits up to three Lower-Paradox:
The Predestination-Paradox: For the Grandfather-Paradox, this means, that, by what means ever, the Time Travelling is Part of History and will lead to you existing anyway.
The Pogo-Paradox: For the Grandfather-Paradox, this means, that you can try to do the Crime, but in doing so you're starting the Events that lead to you wanting to do it.
Alternativ Timeline: For the Grandfather-Paradox, this means, that you can do whatever you want, as this only creates an alternative Timeline. You still exist.
